Warts at the preputial reflection of this bull's penis, thought to be caused by the papilloma virus. The small warts on this bull likely have no functional significance, but they can become painful as they grow larger. As the virus also infects the vagina and they are spread principally by direct contact, they can become a herd problem for younger cattle. Immunity usually develops within a few months, but reinfections are known.
