Description: The districts of Chakesang, Mao, Tuensang, and Angami in Nagaland, in the far northeastern region of India, along the Myanmar border, are home to the native Naga pig, or tenyi vo as it is known locally. Tenyi vo means "pig from Angami" in direct translation. It is referred to as votho among the Lotha tribe and suho among the Sema tribe. Known as "the pig with white stockings," this breed is a little pig with white hooves and a comparatively long, straight tail with a white tip.
