Description: A semi tractor and livestock pot are used to transport livestock to various locations. The trailer is designed to hold livestock in several different compartments. The compartments are designed to protect the cattle, the truck, and the driver. They do this by restricting area in which the livestock can move which improves the stability of the truck and trailer when it is in motion. Depending on the size of the truck, road conditions, and weight conditions for a particular road, a fully loaded livestock trailer can transport 45,000 to 60,000 pounds. The livestock are penned in the nose section (above the wheels of the tractor), in the top and bottom compartments in the center of the trailer, and in the tail section above the wheels of the trailer. The trailer is ventilated with the air holes in the side of the trailer. During the winter, plastic inserts can be used to reduce airflow and keep the interior of the trailer warmer.
