Description: These feedlot cattle are housed in a slatted floor barn in eastern Nebraska. Slurry manure is stored in a pit underneath the barn and pumped out and land applied. The barn has a roof which overhangs the feedbunk to keep rain and snow from accumulating in the bunk.
