Combines to harvest wheat, barley, rice, soybeans, or corn for grain (e.g., NAL # 4935 to #4942) separate the kernels of grain from the rest of the plant, and accumulate the grain in a hopper. When the grain hopper is full, the combine unloads the contents into a grain cart such as this one for soybeans, or a truck. The grain is then transported to central storage, the bottom of the cart (visible in NAL #4946) opens to empty the contents into another hopper, and an auger elevates the grain into a storage bin.
