Description: These pigs are using a ramp with solid side walls and a "see through" partition between two sides. Pigs move up the ramp more readily when they see others on the other side. This ramp applys the behavioral principals of the diagram in image NAL #4448. Image #4450 is related. Floor cleats should be spaced about 8 inches (20 cm) apart for market weight pigs. Each of the side by side ramps is about 20 inches (50 cm) wide, adequate for market weight pigs without allowing them to turn around.
