Images of unfertilized ova. The diameters of the ova in the photomicrograph ranged from about 0.1 to 0.15 mm. While each of these ova was obtained between days 6.5 and 7.5 after ovulation, the variable development among them is not unusual. The enlarged perivitelline spaces in A and B and the granular appearance of B suggest that they are degenerating.
